Everyone can probably agree that the most recent season of the HBO Max series has been a doozy.

From the graphic nudity, explicit sex scenes, Rue's ridiculous drug use, and well everything else depicted on the show, Euphoria continues its reign as one of the most buzz-worthy shows out right now.

Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end.

The season finale for Euphoria is upon us, and the promo for the eighth episode suggests viewers are in for a wild ride.

Yet it has also been teased that one character could meet a dire fate in the finale.

So who could potentially bite the bullet?

Here are a few characters who may not make it to season three.

Fezco/Ashtray

Should Angus Cloud's Fezco or his adoptive little brother Ashtray, played by Javon "Wanna" Walton, be the ones to go, it's going to be a bad time for Euphoria.

Fez and Ashtray were both upgraded to main cast members this season much to the approval of fans everywhere.

But the pair's storyline has been plagued with a lot of drama.

In the season one finale, Ashtray murdered their former supplier, which has been the catalyst for their plot of this season.

In the sixth episode, Fez's other supplier, Custer, informs his girlfriend, Faye – who stays with Fezco and Ashtray since she’s wanted by the police – that he's working with the cops to tie Fez and Ashtray to Custer's murder.

For those who know how Ashtray gets down, clearly this won't end well.

Especially since the promo for the finale showed clips of Fez on the ground with blood on his shirt.

Sigh.

Hopefully Fez and Ashtray make it out alive and maybe just land in jail.

But things aren't looking too great for these now wildly popular characters.

Cal Jacobs

Eric Dane, who is best known for his role on Grey's Anatomy, plays Nate Jacobs' demanding father, who lives a double life in Euphoria.

Another character who got a major upgrade this season was Eric Dane's Cal Jacobs.

The complicated and strict dad of Nate has been living a double life since season one.

This season gave time to better explore Cal's very creepy actions, which has made him more interesting.

But still very creepy.

So why could this complex character be in peril?

Well, for starters, no one has seen Mr. Jacobs since episode four, when he decided to leave his family after dumping on them for being fake and homophobic.

Also, Nate has a lot of pent-up anger against his father as it has been teased that Cal could've possibly abused his son.

What's to stop Nate from exacting his revenge against Cal?

There's also Nate's mom and Cal's former wife, Marsha, who also apparently hated her hubby.

Will anyone be devastated if Cal meets his maker?

Probably not, but Dane's captivating performance as the tormented man has been enjoyable to say the least – so it would be a bummer if he doesn't come back for the next season.

Faye

Newcomer Faye, played by Chloe Cherry, has been an interesting addition to the provocative show.

Viewers were introduced to the addict in the first episode of season two when Zendaya's Rue accompanied Fez and Ashtray to a drug deal.

Yes, she was the one who injected herself with heroin via her um, private area, while in the car with Rue.

But Faye isn't in danger because of her drug habit.

Since she is the only one who knows of Fez and Ashtray's impending betrayal, it does also put her in the hot seat with Ashtray, who is quick to protect Fez by any means necessary.

Faye could also decide to the right thing, albeit late, and let Fez and Ashtray know what's about going down – which also puts her in peril.

Either way, as Whoopi Goldberg said in Ghosts: Faye, "you in danger girl!"

Nate Jacobs

Last and most certainly not least, there is the notorious Nate Jacobs, played Jacob Elordi.

Now, this is someone who also won't be greatly missed for a plethora of reasons.

The narcissistic teen clearly has issues.

Last episode was evidence of this when he played Russian Roulette with his ex-girlfriend, Maddy.

Not to mention the fact the he engaged in an illicit affair and two-minute relationship with Maddy's ex-best friend Cassie.

Needless to say, Nate won't be greatly missed.

And the fact that he has so many enemies doesn't exactly ensure his safety.

Plus there's also a thing called karma.

Sure, Euphoria is a fictional show, but all baddies eventually meet their demise, so if not this season, Nate's time will come.

Hopefully.

The season two finale for Euphoria debuts on HBO Max this Sunday.
