The 19-year-old rose to prominence earlier this year thanks to his lead role as Charlie Spring in Netflix's Heartstopper.

Locke confirmed the casting on Instagram, writing "When I found out I got an email which said 'welcome to the marvel universe' and I screamed."

Per Variety, Locke will join Kathryn Hahn, who will reprise her role as Agatha Harkness in the series. WandaVision star Emma Caulfield Ford is also confirmed to be returning as Dottie.

WandaVision creator Jac Schaeffer will serve as head writer and executive producer on Coven of Chaos.

In usual Marvel fashion, the spin-off show remains shrouded in mystery, with Locke's role and further plot details being strictly under wraps for now.

When fans last saw Agatha in WandaVision, she was trapped in Westview by the Scarlet Witch, doomed to continue her role as the nosy neighbor.

Plans for Coven of Chaos were first revealed back in October of last year. At this year's San Diego Comic-Con, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige confirmed that the series will premiere on Disney+ in winter 2023.

Another WandaVision spin-off titled Vision Quest starring Paul Bettany was recently confirmed to be in the works as well.
