The family of Axel Acosta, a 21-year-old victim of the tragedy, reached a settlement with Scott, Live Nation, and other involved parties.

The terms of the agreement are being kept confidential.

Houston lawyer Tony Buzbee announced that the settlement had been reached in a post shared on Instagram.

"Victim Axel Acosta was a beloved son, brother, and student," Buzbee said. "He was kind and loving. He is greatly missed. Please keep his family in your prayers."

The attorney filed a lawsuit last November against the 31-year-old rapper seeking $750 million in damages on behalf of 125 victims at the festival, including Acosta.

Buzbee's legal team said that the 21-year-old's death was the result of "gross negligence," according to the complaint obtained by People.

"Axel Acosta loved and adored Travis Scott and the other performers at Astroworld — the feeling was not mutual," the lawsuit said.

The family of 16-year-old victim Brianna Rodriguez has also reached a settlement with Scott, per the Houston Chronicle.

There are still more suits to be sorted out.
