Soccer youngster flaunts show-stopping gymnastics routine mid-practice
Dallas, Texas - Before Nadia Comăneci scored the first perfect 10 in gymnastics and became a pioneer in the sport, she was found doing cartwheels at a schoolyard by her famed coach in Romania. In the present day, TikTok discovered another young girl performing cartwheels who just might be gymnastics' next rising star.
To perform at the Olympics in gymnastics, a gymnast must either be 16 years old, or turning 16 within the calendar year of the games.
Needless to say, for one young athlete, the 2032 Olympic Games just might be her breakout year.
In a viral video that has garnered over 6.8 million views after being reposted on Insta by House of Highlights, a young soccer player named Reagan proves she might be playing the wrong sport by flaunting her major acro-ability with back-to-back tricks in the middle of soccer practice.
In the clip, Reagan stops an oncoming ball during a drill and winds her leg back for a big pass.
After kicking the ball, the gymnastics prodigy went back in line – Simone Biles style.
In perfect awareness, Raegan executed a textbook cartwheel into not one, not two, but three back walkovers.
Her straight legs and strong arms emulated that of today's best in gymnastics like Shilese Jones and reigning US national gymnastics champion Konnor McClain. Her line extensions and fluid movements also resembled past greats such as Nastia Liukin and Svetlana Khorkina.
Though Raegan might be not be the next Megan Rapinoe on the soccer field, it's safe to say there are endless floor gold medals in her future!
