Steph Curry's three-year-old son shows off fancy footwork
San Francisco, California – Steph Curry might be passing down more than looks to his three-year-old son, Canon Curry, who put on a side-stepping show at the Golden State Warriors game Wednesday night.
When you have a dad like Steph Curry to look up to, it's hard not to be inspired by their on-court athleticism.
On Wednesday night, Curry and his teammates Draymond Green and Andrew Wiggins were given their All-Star Game jerseys and rings at halftime, but it was what came next that captured viewers' eyes – and their hearts.
After the Warriors' general manager and team president Bob Myers handed out jerseys, the three players were greeted by their children, who adorably gifted All-Star rings to their respective dads.
Once Curry's son, Canon, was finished with his obligatory ring duty, he decided it was time to put on a show for those in attendance.
In a video posted by ESPN, Canon is seen being ushered off the court by his shooting guard dad before he hits him with a low-five.
It was then that Canon decided to switch things up, side-stepping his old man and just about anyone who tried to slow him down.
You can't stop Canon Curry
After beating out the 33-year-old and darting across the court, Canon doubles back and heads toward the Warriors' bench for more star-studded high-fives.
When one of the team's security guards tried to stop him, he busted out some fancy footwork – rivaling that of his dad – and took off on foot once again.
After several sprints around the court and successful attempts at wiggling his way out of anyone's custody, Curry stepped in to swoop his three-year-old up and off the court.
Though his exact words to Canon were inaudible, it seemed like a total "Daddy has to work now," moment for the father-son duo, and it couldn't have been any cuter.
Based on Canon's halftime showcase of speed and fancy footwork, he might just follow in the steps of his basketball-playing pops.
The NBA All-Star Game is set to take place on February 20 at the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland, Ohio.
