Tom Brady reveals when and how he caught Covid-19!

Tampa Bay, Florida - While it’s still mesmerizing to some people how the Buccaneers’ quarterback is still playing at a high level at his age in the NFL, Tom Brady isn’t completely invincible, as he shared over this past weekend.

The ageless wonder, who’s seemed to have defied everything that the physically demanding sport of American football can throw at him, beat the odds and led his team to Tampa Bay’s second Lombardi Trophy in Super Bowl LV, this past February.

However, that championship ended up having some consequences, as Brady in fact caught the coronavirus after celebrating his team’s victory.

As revealed to the Tampa Bay Times, Brady did indeed catch the virus but didn’t disclose exactly how, or from whom he might’ve contracted it. Instead, he focused on the overall state of his team handling the current pandemic going forward.

"I actually think it’s going to play more of a factor this year than last year, just because of the way what we’re doing now and what the stadium is going to look like and what the travel is going to look like and the people in the building and the fans," he explained.

The Bucs have already had a few players step away from the team after testing positive themselves during this past preseason. One of which is their kicker Ryan Succop, who was thought to have possibly been the cause of an outbreak that affected the Tennessee Titans two weeks ago.

Brady assured the Times that he is currently vaccinated, along with the rest of the Buccaneers roster, second only to the Atlanta Falcons in hitting 100% vaccination status in the league.

The Buccaneers open their season at home as defending Super Bowl champs on September 9, against the Dallas Cowboys.
