NFL unveils a star-studded teaser for the 2022 season kickoff!
Los Angeles, California - With the 2022 football season kickoff just around the corner, the NFL released a star-studded teaser to put those hype levels into overdrive!
Set to Dr. Dre’s anthem Still D.R.E., the video pays tribute to last year’s Super Bowl Halftime Show, which featured hip-hop legends such as Snoop Dogg, Eminem, and Kendrick Lamar.
Alongside rap royalty like Saweetie, Lil Wayne, Pusha T, and Young Dylan, the new teaser also features the Seattle Seahawks’ DK Metcalf, NFL greats Derwin James and Cam Jordan, pro boxer Ryan Garcia, Buffalo Bills "Mafia" super-fan Pinto Ron, and social media star Frankie LaPenna.
As the NFL has been beefing up its entertainment game, with last year's halftime effort being a prime example, it's clear that fans can expect more of the same this season.
Earlier this month, the league announced that its 2022 NFL Kickoff Concert at the NFL Kickoff Experience will be headlined by none other than the "Prince of Reggaeton," J Balvin.
Presented by Verizon, the free to the public kickoff event will take place ahead of the first game on September 8, at Alamitos Beach in Long Beach, California.
Balvin is slated to perform at 7 PM and the show will be streamed on NFL's website, all, and social media platforms, as well as televised on NBC and the NFL Network’s pregame show coverage.
The reigning Super Bowl champions, the Los Angeles Rams, will host the Buffalo Bills at SoFi Stadium for the 2022 NFL Kickoff game on Thursday, September 8, at 8:20 PM EDT.
