Texas Longhorns flips TCU commit Warren Roberson in dramatic video!
Austin, Texas - The 2023-24 college football season hasn't even started yet, and things are already starting to get messy in the Big 12 Conference!
A CFP national championship game appearance may be enough for some, but for others like four-star Warren Roberson, it's not enough!
The Texas native, who has been committed to TCU since October, made a last minute flip to the Texas Longhorns on Tuesday.
While flipping commitments isn't anything new in college football, what really struck fans was the way Roberson announced his new decision.
In a video posted on Twitter, the defensive back is captured wearing a TCU purple bomber jacket, seemingly representing the Horned Frogs.
Then, out of nowhere, a black bag is thrown into his hands and shockingly, he takes out a bright orange Longhorns hat and rips his jacket open to reveal a Texas Longhorn shirt underneath.
Following his reveal, Roberson is bombarded by school friends, who screamed and cheered him on.
Roberson ranks as one of the top 20 safeties in the nation and joins 12 fellow four-stars and four five star recruits.
Still awaiting once last commitment decision from Duce Robinson, the Longhorns finish their 2023 class recruiting at No. 3 in the nation and No. 1 class in the Big 12 conference.
