Their efforts fell short Friday night as New Orleans claimed victory with a 101-94 final score.

Having not played since Tuesday, Philly came into the game having won seven of their last ten games, and had hoped to take advantage of the short break in between games.

Tobias Harris (28) led the way with 23 points and seven rebounds. Joel Embiid (27) could only put up 14 points and just 9 rebounds, not quite on par with his season averages.

The Pelicans were looking to rebound from getting straight-up victimized in Kevin Durant's return to Brooklyn, Wednesday night. They recovered indeed for the win, with Zion Williamson breaking out for a game-high 37 points, 15 rebounds, and was two assists shy of tallying up a triple-double for the night. Brandon Ingram chipped in too with 17 points and 8 rebounds.

Philly has the Thunder up next tonight, while New Orleans takes a well-earned rest before facing the Cavs on Sunday.
