Coming off of a record-setting Friday night in Boston, Jayson Tatum (23) lead the Celtics to a well-earned win in Denver.

The Nuggets, who were riding an eight-game winning streak, had been looking like possible title contenders over the past weeks. They were in control for much of Sunday's game, holding Boston down and leading going into the fourth quarter.

But the Celtics turned it all the way around in the fourth, putting up 31 points and holding the Nuggets to just 8, to steal the big win.

Tatum had a game-high 28 points, to go along with his 10 rebounds and 2 assists. Jaylen Brown was right behind him with 20 points and 8 rebounds.

For the Nuggets, Michael Porter Jr. led with 20 points and 11 rebounds. And three-time All-Star Nikola Jokic had a triple-double with 17 points, 10 rebounds, and 11 assists, but it wasn't enough to hold the Celtics off.

The Celtics head out west to Portland to take on the Trail Blazers on Tuesday, while the Nuggets visit the Warriors Monday night.
