Xavier Musketeers land promising center Kachi Nzeh!
Cincinnati, Ohio - Fresh off his official visit to Cincinnati, top-ranked center Kachi Nzech on Thursday announced his decision to join Xavier University's basketball program!
A versatile four-man player, Nzeh wasted no time to fill the missing void of Xavier's front-court in its 2023 recruiting class.
The 6-foot-9 center out of Newtown, Pennsylvania, chose the Musketeers from a list of top programs including, VCU, Iowa, and St. Louis.
"It really came down to the nitpicking of things," Nzeh shared during his live announcement via 247 Sports on YouTube. "[Coach] Sean Miller has sent guys to the NBA and he has done things with versatile fours like myself and he really has that blueprint to get me where I want to go."
Most recently, the star athlete concluded his junior season as a leading scorer, averaging 20.5 points per game for the George School. Dominating the court, Nzeh led his team to a 12-2 record, making them one of the top teams in the state.
Ranked the sixth-best player in the state of Pennsylvania and the 36th best center in the nation, Nzeh will look to make an immediate impact on Xavier's team and the Big East Conference.
In just month, Xavier men's basketball has now garnered four commits and currently ranks in the top 10 best teams for its 2023 recruiting class.
