On Monday, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers got candid about his personal life during a new episode of his SiriusXM podcast, Let’s Go!

"I think there's a lot of professionals in life that go through things that they deal with at work, and they deal with at home," Brady said.

"Obviously, the good news is, it's a very amicable situation and I'm really focused on two things, taking care of my family and certainly my children and, secondly, doing the best job I can to win football games."

"So, that's what professionals do. You focus at work when it's time to work, and then when you come home, you focus on the priorities that are at home," he added.

While compartmentalizing like that turned out to be very difficult, the seven-time Super Bowl champion strives to do things in life the "right way" whether that's during a big game or at home with his children.

"All you can do is the best you can do. And, that's what I'll continue to do as long as I'm working and I'm being a dad," Brady said.

Bündchen's divorce from Brady was granted after the marriage was ruled as irretrievably broken.

The former couple sparked speculation all the way back in March, when the 45-year-old unretired from the NFL.

Rumors of a rift between the two heightened in September after Brady took a mysterious 11-day absence from the Buccaneers and the pair began living separately.

In a candid interview published in Elle magazine, the 42-year-old fashion icon revealed she gave Brady an ultimatum to save their marriage.

"Obviously, I have my concerns – this is a very violent sport, and I have my children and I would like him to be more present," Bündchen said. "I have definitely had those conversations with him over and over again."

"I’ve done my part, which is (to) be there for (Tom). I moved to Boston, and I focused on creating a cocoon and a loving environment for my children to grow up in and to be there supporting him and his dreams," she added.

Bündchen shared her thoughts on her separation from Brady on Friday via her Instagram, saying: "The decision to end a marriage is never easy, but we have grown apart and while it is, of course, difficult to go through something like this, I feel blessed for the time we had together and only wish the best for Tom always."
