The Crimson Tide scores four-star receiver Jalen Hale
Tuscaloosa, Alabama - While the Crimson Tide are a force to be reckoned with on the field this season, Alabama is gearing up to dominate in 2023 by securing one of the nation's top receivers: Jalen Hill.
On Wednesday, the four-star athlete officially announced his commitment to the Crimson Tide via Instagram over the likes of Texas, Georgia, and Texas A&M.
At 6-foot-1, Hale is ranked as a top 10 player in the state of Texas and the ninth-best receiver in the country.
His commitment to Alabama makes him the third wide receiver in the Crimson Tide's 2023 class, joining fellow standouts Cole Adams and Malik Benson.
A three-sport athlete who dabbles in football, basketball, and track and field at Longview High school recorded a blazing 22.68-second 200-meter dash during his sophomore year.
In his junior season on the football field, Hale was named as a first-team District 7-5A selection after he brought in 50 catches for 1,154 yards and scored 14 touchdowns.
Over the course of the three varsity football seasons he's played in, Hale posted a career record of 96 catches for 2,017 yards and 27 touchdowns. With the combination of his physical frame, the functional athleticism as a three-sport athlete, and his on-field abilities as wideout, Hale shows promising developmental potential.
He is projected to become a multi-year starter at Alabama who could ultimately progress into a top candidate in the NFL Draft.
Currently, the Crimson Tide stands at the top the leader board with the nation's best recruiting class for 2023.
