Ranked the nation's ninth-best cornerback and 27th overall player in the state of Texas, Myers chose the Rebels over LSU, Auburn, and USC.

The son of Michael Myers, a former Alabama and NFL defensive tackle, Braxton has followed his father's footsteps by becoming a stellar defensive player and earning Texas District 6-6A unanimous first-team selection last year.

As a junior, the 6-foot-1 athlete racked up 40 tackles – five being tackles for loss – 11 pass breakups, one force fumble, and three interceptions.

Myers pledge to the Rebels makes him the third-highest-ranked prospect in Ole Miss’ 2023 recruiting class behind four-star linebacker Suntarine Perkins and four-star wide receiver Ayden Williams.

Perkins and Williams are the top two best players out of the state of Mississippi.

Following Myers’ commitment, Ole Miss ties Texas A&M for the fewest commitments (12) in the top 30 of the 2023 recruiting team rankings. Of the Rebels’ 12 pledges, seven are four-star recruits.
