Ivana Trump’s tragic cause of death is revealed
New York, New York - Ivana Trump's cause of death has been revealed by the medical examiner's office.
On Thursday, news broke that Ivana Trump died at the age of 73.
According to a spokesperson for the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, the first wife of former president Donald J. Trump died from injuries she endured amid an accident inside her New York City apartment.
Her official cause of death was blunt impact injuries to the torso, the spokesperson said. Ivana reportedly fell down the stairs in her home, a police official said earlier this week.
The former president's ex-wife and the mother to three of his children – Ivanka, Don Jr., and Eric Trump – was last seen Wednesday afternoon.
The couple was married for 14 years, but ultimately called it quits in 1992.
The Manhattan socialite was born Ivana Zelnickova in 1949 in the Czech city of Gottwaldov just one year after the country was taken over by Communists.
The Apprentice star and politician confirmed the news of Ivana's passing on Truth Social on Thursday: "I am very saddened to inform all of those that loved her, of which there are many, that Ivana Trump has passed away at her home in New York City."
