Ivana Trump, Donald Trump's first wife, has passed away
New York, New York - Ivana Trump, Donald Trump's first wife and the mother of three of his children, has passed away at the age of 73.
On Thursday afternoon, the former president confirmed his ex-wife's passing on his social media site, Truth Social.
Trump revealed that Ivana, whom he shared three children – Donald Jr., Ivanka, and Eric – had died in her New York City home.
"I am very saddened to inform all of those that loved her, of which there are many, that Ivana Trump has passed away at her home in New York City," the politician wrote.
"She was a wonderful, beautiful, and amazing woman, who led a great and inspirational life. Her pride and joy were her three children, Donald Jr., Ivanka, and Eric. She was so proud of them, as we were all so proud of her. Rest In Peace, Ivana!"

Eric Trump also confirmed the news and paid tribute to his late mother on Instagram.
"Our mother was an incredible woman – a force in business, a world-class athlete, a radiant beauty, and caring mother and friend," he wrote.
"Ivana Trump was a survivor. She fled from communism and embraced this country. She taught her children about grit and toughness, compassion and determination. She will be dearly missed by her mother, her three children and ten grandchildren."
The socialite's cause of death has not yet been revealed.
The Czech-American was married to Trump from 1977 to 1992 and was also best known for her advice column "Ask Ivana," as well as her iconic cameo in '90s flick, The First Wives Club.
