Rat fights dogs in the most NYC video you'll see all day
New York, New York - A rat entered a dog park in New York City, setting off a battle royale of pups vs. rodent in a viral video for the ages.
The video posted to Twitter has over six million views and shows a rat that somehow finds itself in the center of a dog park in Tompkins Square Dog Run in Manhattan, surrounded by ravenous canines.
Multiple dogs begin attacking the little critter, as their owners step in to break up the rumble.
The owner of Zoey, a four-year-old Jindo mix who managed to catch the rat several times, became an internet celebrity, due to his attempts to save the rat from his snarling pup.
"To be honest I was scared that she was gonna really chomp down on that rat," the owner, identified as Jonah, told CNN.
Jonah and the other dog owners were concerned with their canine friends possibly catching a disease from the adventurous rodent, who seemed to be giving as good as he got in the crazy footage.
A friend of the man's posted an update on Twitter with Jonah next to his pup, holding up a sign that says, "Zoey didn't get sick!"
Luckily, no animals were harmed in the incident.
