Woman with jarring face tattoos endures painful removal sessions for a fresh start
Warren, Ohio - All too often, Alyssa Zebrasky caused head-shaking reactions from strangers due to her bizarre face tattoos and a penchant for crime. Now, she wants to change her narrative and start fresh with tattoo removal.
If she could, Alyssa would probably turn back time, because between 2018 and 2019, the woman from Ohio was arrested three times: sometimes for theft, and sometimes for minor drug offenses, according to the Daily Star.
Alyssa has since renounced her past and says she can no longer identify with the large spider web tattoo on her forehead and the other patterns on her face.
For some time now, she has been regularly having her works of art removed professionally, as she reports on her TikTok channel.
After her tenth tattoo removal session, the 32-year-old came to a conclusion: "I just want to say that I'm I'm in a lot of pain today."
Attentive observers have noticed the tattoo removal treatment is working. The ink on the back of her hands has visibly become smaller and the dark lines on her cheek are also thinning out. Even the purple spider web on her forehead looks noticeably faded.

Not all tattoos can be removed, but Alyssa dreams of a fresh start
But not everything can be undone, and Alyssa admitted that the black tattoos around her eyelids may not remove so easy due to its proximity to her eye socket. Because anything with bone directly underneath can only be removed very painfully, she explained on TikTok, those tattoos will probably never disappear completely.
However, one question is pressing: Why did she get the face tattoos in the first place?
The TikToker revealed in a different video that the tattoos were born out of a toxic relationship.
"A few years ago, I met this guy and thought I was in love," she said before explaining she was also using hard drugs at the time.
"He told me that if I wanted to be with him, I had to get my face tattooed," she said, which is a decision she regrets today.
Currently, Alyssa is unsure how long it will take for her tattoo removal treatment to be completed, but one thing's for certain: she just wants a fresh start.
