Tattoo artist shares story of cheated-on woman's hilarious ink-based revenge
Dublin, Ireland - Revenge is certainly sweet, especially when cheaters and tattoos are involved! According to tattoo influencer Jamie Lo, a young lady from Dublin tricked her cheating boyfriend into inking her name.
Tattoo artist Jamie Lo witnessed the whole scene play out, sharing his re-enactment in a dramatic play-by-play posted to his TikTok account, where he goes as @JammyDodged. In the video, Lo shared that the couple arrived at his parlor and asked to get each other's names tattooed - as a sign of their everlasting love.
The woman said that her boyfriend would be the first in the chair, and he excitedly went over and sat down, sharing that he was eager to have a tattoo that celebrated the love of his life. When it was his sweetheart's turn however, things turned sour - she replied that she wouldn't be getting tattooed at all.
According to Lo, she said, "(...) I thought it would be nice to remind him permanently of this moment and of me for the rest of his life."
Hilarious cheater tattoo story goes crazy viral on TikTok
The act of revenge, and the way that Jamie Lo re-told it on his TikTok account, was an absolute hit on the platform. With more than 17 million views, the video has collected nearly 5 million likes and over 10,000 comments.
Many were impressed by the Irishwoman's callousness, and would probably have liked to take a leaf out of her book if worst came to worst. They wrote comments like, "Well deserved!," "Such a power move," and "Will do the same if someone cheats on me."
Joining in the chorus, by the way, was the tattoo artist himself, who admitted in a sub-comment that he was proud of the woman.
But what about the boyfriend? According to Jamie Lo, the cheater immediately tried to win his girlfriend back. He ended up spending an hour in the bathroom of the tattoo parlor crying. Ouch!
