Shrek fan gets tattoo that instantly plays Smash Mouth's 1999 hit

UK – When you're a Shrek super-fan, it only makes sense to get a tattoo that plays an iconic Smash Mouth song that just so happens to be the flick's unofficial anthem.

Not all that glitters is gold, unless you get a tattoo that instantly plays All Star by Smash Mouth in the blink of an eye.

That's just what Instagram user Tymarah Emily did, and it's quite the genius move.

In a video that's simply captioned, "Shrek4life", Tymarah shows off the process of getting her witty ink, something she called, "The best decision of [her] life."

The tattoo itself is a Spotify code that, when scanned through the app's camera reader, summons up Smash Mouth's 1999 hit single, All Star.

The track plays during the opening scenes of Shrek, which debuted two years after All Star hit the airwaves and took the world by storm.

Clearly, both the song and film hold a spot near and dear to Tymarah's heart.

So much so, that she opted to permanently have easy access to the triple certified platinum bop from a much simpler time: the '90s.

The musically-inspired ink was done by tattoo artist Tina-Marie Lewis of Sacred Empire Tattoo in the town of Tonbridge, UK.

Though the Spotify code tat seems to be the first of its kind done by Tina, who's to say Tymarah won't come back for round two with a different track?
