Argentina – Despite his mother's best efforts to stop him, Flecha Fakir is modifying and tattooing his body just the way he wants to.

When it comes to tattoos, some people opt to start small and work their way towards larger and more daring pieces.

But others take more of a go big or go home approach to the art of tattooing and body modifications – starting with the strange.

That's what Fakir did, anyway, and not everyone he loves is fond of his expressive ways, specifically his mother.

The first time the Argentina native dipped his toe in the body modification water, he decided to get his tongue split. He also got his first tattoo at the ripe age of 15.

Since growing his tattoo collection, Fakir's mother became increasingly nervous about what her son might get tattooed next. In an interview with Truly, he recollected a time his mother told him, 'Please, tattoo whatever you want apart from the face!"

Despite his family's growing concerns that he was ruining his body and future, Fakir said once he started tattooing his face, "there was no coming back."

After getting his tongue split, Fakir got both his eyes and tongue tattooed completely black. Since then, he's had his nipples, belly button, and ear conchs entirely removed, along with several piercings and implants.

"I'm aiming to look like a demon," Fakir told Truly. "I think the final goal for my look will be to have 100% of my body covered in tattoos."

When asked how she felt about her son's eye-catching look, his mother, Norma, said, "I do worry about his health, but it's not like I disagree with what he's doing."

She continued, "As I know, he has his own life. The young people don't belong to us, they have their own lives."

At the end of the day, Fakir is happy with his ever-changing looks, and those are the only person's opinions that matter.
