Body modification addict had his scalp carved, but that's just the tip of the iceberg
Buenos Aires, Argentina – Victor Hugo Peralta Rodriguez is taking body modifications to a graphic new level.
Getting tattooed by over 80 artists is no small feat to accomplish, and it's surely not a cheap one.
But it's not just tattoos that Rodriguez is into. According to the Mirror, in addition to his body ink, reported he has 11 subdermal implants, metal teeth, a split and tattooed tongue, lobe gauges, eyeball tattoos, various piercings – including one on his scrotum – and numerous scarifications.
In November, Rodriguez opted in for the gruesome, getting the number six carved into his skull. He plans to add two more carvings to create a "666" scarification on his skull for all to see.
While the number is commonly associated with the devil or the antichrist, the 50-year-old told the Mirror that his inspiration behind the carvings derived from his distaste for religious people.
"I do the three six because I hate religious people and what they do doesn't interest me, for that reason I do it out of repudiation of the church," Rodriguez said.
The procedure was done under local anesthesia, but Rodriguez admitted he was in pain at times as his body modification artist, Frozz Viraca, continued to remove the tissue from his scalp.
No pain, no gain
Getting the first digit took an hour, and Rodriquez noted that the completed piece would take multiple sessions to finish.
But his desired "666" scarification is far from the most mind-boggling modification Rodriquez has – in fact, the scrotum piercing isn't even the most extreme thing he's done to his privates. That honor goes to the tattoo on the tip of his penis, a project which he said was one of the most painful experiences he's gone through.
Surprisingly, it still comes second to the agony he endured while having his entire tongued tattooed, saying, "That was very annoying and painful and made it difficult to breathe for a few hours."
His first tattoo was of the word "f***" on the fingers of his left hand, which he did himself at the age of 13. Since then, he's been obsessed with tattoos and currently has 95% of his body covered in them. While he loves everything about his unique and personalized look, not everyone feels the same.
"There are many people who do not agree with this style of life and criticize because they don't understand the taste of others," he told the Mirror.
But the opinions of others haven't phased Rodriguez – he has no desire to look like anyone else, and won't be changing his lifestyle anytime soon.
While he once had 40 piercings, Rodriguez is more interested in adding to his expansive ink catalog.
"Tattoos have accompanied me throughout my life, and they are my favorites both to wear on my skin or to make them on other people, they are very important in my life," Rodriguez said.
