Great minds think alike! This romantic proposal took an unexpected turn
Vancouver, Canada - It was a surprise filled with double the joy! Photographer Miranda Anderson shared an unbelievable dual engagement that she says was her favorite proposal she has ever been a part of.
Savi, a young woman from Vancouver, wanted to ask her boyfriend Sharath to marry her after they had been separated for six months due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
In the summer of 2020, Savi contacted wedding photographer Miranda Anderson and asked her to set up the perfect romantic photo shoot. She wanted a picturesque setting to get down on one knee in front of her boyfriend.
It was a no-brainer for Anderson, who specializes in couple, wedding, and family photos. She immediately scheduled the pair for a dreamy moment, which she has since shared on her Instagram.
But just before the big day, there was an unexpected surprise!
Savi's partner Sharath, who thought the session was meant to be a simple couple's shoot, told the photographer that he too planned to propose to his sweetheart that day!
The photographer seized the moment to make it the most memorable engagement she had ever captured.
An unforgettable surprise
A secret plan is hatched
Anderson hoped that she could keep Savi and Sharath's secrets and shoot an incredible double proposal, so she came up with special instructions for the lovebirds.
The photographer told the unsuspecting couple they should stand back-to-back until given a cue to turn around.
When the moment came, love was in the air twice over, and the couple's dream proposals both came true together.
After Anderson's signal, they slowly turned around and got down on one knee at the same time.
Completely floored, the two laughed in amazement as they each pulled out a ring box.
"I want to grow old with you," Sharath told his bride-to-be.
Their answers were a double "yes!"
