Your dentist can tell if you've recently given oral sex!
Internet - Dentists apparently know more about the sex lives of their patients than some in the dentist's chair might like.
TikTok user @cianmcbrien went viral with a clip in which he looked into the camera with a shocked expression and wrote that dentists know if someone had given a blowjob. The young man could not provide an explanation for this, but the video clip has reached 4.7 million users on TikTok so far.
Cian McBrien didn't have to wait long for an explanation. After two days, the video had already been seen by so many people that even dentists took notice.
Dentist @thyrants responded, "Yeah, sometimes we can tell, and it's usually bruising on the soft palate called a petechiae," explained the TikTok dentist with over 609,000 subscribers.
"But unless the patient's really young or we see signs of abuse, we don't care."
More dentists confirm the viral clip
Mandi echoed the specialist's expertise. She is a dental hygienist and received the video from a friend, who asked her if it was true.
"Yes, it is," she replied in her video. She added that she wouldn't be able to tell if a patient did it a long time ago, but she would see the marks "if you did it recently and were a little bit aggressive about it."
A third expert is TikTok dentist @dentite, who announced the video explanation in an extra clip, which has more than 42.3 million views so far! "'You went viral for this?'" the TikToker's brother, who is also a dentist, reportedly asked in amazement.
"If you like, let's say, sucking on a lollipop, one or two here or there, not a big deal, but let's say you like to suck on multiple, multiple, multiple, multiple lollipops all the time, you've got a problem. It's going to cause palatal petichiae," the specialist explained in the clip.
It's the same with oral gratification, he added.
This is what bruising looks like after a blowjob on the palate
The dentists didn't mention a crucial piece of information: how long can the petechiae be seen on the palate? Generally, bruises disappear after a few days, but in some cases, vascular damage can be visible for two to three weeks.
So, if you'd rather keep your sex life secret from your dentist, you shouldn't give a blowjob in the three weeks leading up to the appointment.
