After pictures of second gentleman Doug Emhoff's daughter in her Miu Mui coat at Joe Biden's inauguration went viral, the 21-year-year old student at Parsons School of Design in New York City was offered a major modeling contract from IMG Models.

The agency represents supermodels like Gisele Bündchen and Stephanie Seymore.

According to The New York Time, Ella Emhoff caught IMG's attention because she is "authentic". When Ivan Bart, the president of IMG, Models saw her at the Inauguration he reportedly thought: "Wow, she’s communicating fashion."

He also told the New York Times that Ella Emhoff has something that consumers want, "Ella communicates this moment in time. There’s a cheekiness and a joy she exudes."

Not the only one at Biden's Inaugration to get signed

Ella spoke to The New York Times about her big break, saying: "As someone who, like a lot of young girls out there, had self-confidence issues, it is intimidating and scary to go into this world that is hyper-focused on you and the body."

She admitted to being surprised by the offer, but it fit with her interest in design and as an artist and creative person. Ella decided she was interested in the opportunity after seeing the diversity of models nowadays, a change she wants to be a part of.

Ella wasn't the only attendee at President Joe Biden's Inauguration to get a modeling contract. The inauguration poet Amanda Gorman revealed that she had also signed with IMG Models on Wednesday.
