Norma is a born and bred New Yorker who has many trademark traits – long black hair, iconic bangs, and tortoise-shell glasses.

But one thing she has always had throughout the decades is style.

She has been a successful high fashion designer for 50 years and celebs like Elton John, Whitney Houston, John Lennon, and Farah Fawcett have worn her creations.

She is credited with inventing the "sleeping bag coat", popularizing swimsuits and shoulder pads in the 80s, making jersey dresses and jumpsuits into Athleisure Wear, and creating an affordable line for Walmart.

But although Norma has been working non-stop since she was 20 years old, she looks like she's barely aged! As she shares her daily inspiration on her Instagram, she makes no secret of how old she actually is: 75 years old!

Now, Norma has released a new book called I Am Invincible where she shares her tricks for dominating in a youth-driven industry and what she's learned over the decades.

"The point of the book is to create as many invincible days possible and to age with power while you are doing it!" she wrote on her Instagram.

While Norma admits to using the occasional photo filter and "acupuncture facials", she said she's never had Botox. She also said her key is a healthy lifestyle – she regularly does meditation, circuit training, barre classes, and Pilates – and happily shares her exercises with her 120,000 followers.

She also said that sleep, skincare, eating a plant-based diet, ditching alcohol, and intermittent fasting for 16 hours a day help to keep her on track, according to an interview with ITG magazine.

The designer – who is of Lebanese and Spanish descent – also said she uses natural teas and olive oil as secret ingredients in wellness products and food to stay youthful.

She said that she is so much smarter now than when she was younger.

She hopes her new book will be a healthy handbook to give young women the inspiration to age powerfully.

"A big lesson that I learned is being private and quiet is not going to get you anywhere," she said.
