The clip was posted on Monday by the boys' mother, who goes by the handle @Ashleyoutloud on the platform.

According to the mom, the younger of the two boys wanted to play video games, but the console wasn't charged.

The adorable four-year-old thought it would be enough to plug the device into a socket for a second or two and then it would be ready for use again.

The tears quickly started rolling down his face when he realized things didn't work the way he thought they would. According to his mother, the boy was on the verge of a full-blown tantrum.

That's when his big brother stepped in and took charge. When the single parent saw what was going on, she grabbed her smartphone and began filming.

Millions of people watched the video in amazement

The clip shows the six-year-old standing in front of his little brother and encouraging him to breathe, making calming gestures to guide the little guide through his mini-crisis.

Though there are still a couple of moments when it seems like things could go either way, the younger boy calms down quite quickly. His big brother puts his arm around him and the tantrum is successfully avoided.

In her tweet, Ashley proudly wrote, "My four year old was about to have a whole tantrum and my 6 year old helped him manage his breathing so he could calm down.... I’d say I’m doing freaking alright."

Within 16 hours, the clip had 2.2 million views, 270,000 likes, and 52,000 retweets.

Many people probably wished they had such an amazing big brother in their lives.
