Man apologizes to his daughter on YouTube before shooting her mom
Houston - A video published on YouTube shows a father apologizing to his girl before going on to allegedly kill her mother.
Trent Paschal (48) was arrested on Wednesday and charged with killing his wife Savannah.
Paschal had uploaded a four-and-a-half-minute clip in which he apologizes to his daughter for what he is about to do.
"I'm recording this because I want my daughter to know that I love you, Mackenzie Paschal. I'm so sorry that I have done this," he says in the video.
He then blames his wife for what will follow: "Your mother chose this. She has been cheating on me for a long time." He claims to have proof of her infidelity in the form of voice messages.
"I knew she was kinda too young ... but she's been playing me even though I told her not to mess with me, not to mess with my emotions – don't play with me," Paschal rants.
The video has since been deleted from YouTube.

But the most disturbing moment of the clip happens at the very end, as the man looks into the camera one last time before jumping up and running into another room. Then a shower curtain rustles and the recording stops.
It seems that someone had just walked into the house and Paschal was rushing to find a place to hide. It was Savannah and her mother returning home, as Click2Houston reported.
The accused then allegedly jumped out of the shower and shot his wife twice. His mother-in-law later testified to the police that he also wanted to kill her, but she was able to escape.
When the police arrived, Paschal tried to flee and was chased down by officers, who shot him when he refused to put his gun down. He is expected to survive his wounds.
After his release from hospital, Trent Paschal will be charged with murder.
