New York, New York - One New York City Christmas party may have gotten a little too wild when a senior police officer was caught in a compromising position with a police rookie.

Law enforcement Lieutenant Nick McGarry is most likely now on the naughty list.

At an NYPD holiday party for a Bronx precinct on Thursday, McGarry was filmed enjoying a spicy lap dance from a female officer at the festive occasion at a Yonkers bar.

The woman is described as a "newbie" to the force, and can be seen straddling her lieutenant in a sexy lap dance.

Clips of the captured moment were soon shared on social media, in which a loud "Oh my God!" can be heard ringing out from the crowd.

The senior officer has since been reassigned, the New York Post reported, and is now performing duties as a Transit cop.

An internal investigation has also been launched, according to an NYPD representative.

It is unclear whether the female police officer, whose identity is unknown, will also face consequences.

"He knows he f***ed up," a source said of McGarry. "Messing with your subordinate is a no-no on the job."

McGarry has reportedly been with the New York Police Department's 44th Precinct since 2010 and lives with his wife and children in a northern suburb of the city.
