Woman arrested after spraying airport workers and police with fire extinguisher
Dayton, Ohio - A woman was arrested after she attacked several people by spraying a fire extinguisher while at an airport in Atlanta, Georgia.
A video of the wild incident shows Jennifer Kaye Holder (27) arguing with flight attendants and employees at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
The feud reportedly started after employees confronted her for allegedly not paying her tab at the Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant in the airport.
In the video, the woman quickly becomes defensive, grabs the extinguisher from a nearby wall, and begins walking down the hall of Concourse D as bystanders and children are seen fleeing for safety.
She proceeds to shamelessly spray several people directly in the face and even attempts to enter locked doors at one gate before authorities arrived.
According to a statement from the Atlanta Police Department, officers responded to a call regarding "a suspicious female attempting to open secured doors inside the concourse."
"Officers attempted to make contact with the female, but she was non-compliant and sprayed officers with the fire extinguisher," the statement added. "Despite being assaulted, officers were able to detain the combative female."
While she was detained, Holder allegedly "continued to behave erratically and combative, by spitting and kicking at officers."
At least three airport employees were treated on the scene by EMTs after complaining of respiratory discomfort. Fortunately, all were cleared of injuries.
Holder was eventually transported to Clayton County Jail in her home state of Ohio where she faces several charges including assault, battery, and obstructing or hindering law enforcement officers.
