The Auburn Police Department shared the harrowing footage on Twitter on Tuesday, which showed the suspect pulling up to the window of the business to place an order around 5:06 AM.

In the video, the driver proceeds to pay, and as the barista is handing him the change, he grabs her bare arm and attempts to strap a black zip tie on it.

They scuffle briefly before the driver seems to give up, driving off in a panic.

In an update, Auburn PD said that "after overwhelming support from the community," the suspect was found and arrested.

The man was reportedly arrested at his home, where police searched his truck finding evidence linking him to the crime. He will face attempted kidnapping charges and possibly others.

According to Insider, the coffee shop is called Beankini Espresso and baristas serve customers while wearing lingerie and bikinis.

The barista told the outlet that the owner "puts our safety number one," adding that workers are supplied with everything from mace to tasers to fend off unruly customers.

"Our owner allows us to shut the window on any customer and handle every situation in the way we feel comfortable," the barista said.

The barista also said she is glad the suspect was arrested so that he can't do this to anyone else.
