Tyson Foods CFO drunkenly wanders into a random woman's home for unwarranted slumber party
Fayetteville, Arkansas - John R. Tyson, the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for Tyson Foods, was arrested after he drunkenly wandered into a random woman's home, and fell asleep in her bed.
The unidentified woman arrived at home early Sunday morning to find her front door unlocked. She eventually found Tyson (32) and immediately called the police and reportedly stated that she found "a male she did not know asleep in her bed."
According to the police report, law enforcement officers arrived and found the CFO's clothes on the floor, where his wallet was found to help identify him.
An officer attempted to wake Tyson up, who rose for a moment before he laid down and tried to go back to sleep.
Tyson was arrested and booked at Washington County Detention Center. He faces charges of criminal trespassing and public intoxication.
"We're aware of the incident and as this is a personal matter, we have no additional comment," Tyson Foods told CNN.
He was released on Sunday evening on a $415 bond, according to booking records.
John R. Tyson is the son of the company's chairman John H. Tyson and a fourth generation member of the Tyson family. He has only been in the CFO position since September.
John R. Tyson is scheduled for a court hearing on December 1.
