The 34-year-old was arrested on Sunday at his home in Manchester, New Hampshire, according to the New York Post.

Police were called to the home after he was allegedly arguing with a woman, the child's mother. They did not find signs of a physical altercation between the duo.

During what is being investigated as a previous altercation that took place earlier in the week, Higgins allegedly grabbed the infant, threw her into the dryer, and turned it on.

"The mother was able to quickly intervene and the baby was removed from the dryer," said Manchester Police, who were called to the scene.

The 34-year-old is also now under investigation for reckless conduct and criminal threatening.
