Xavier Javern Cummings is probably pretty proud that he escaped the police twice before getting caught last Thursday.

It's not clear what motivated the 33-year-old Florida man to steal a squad car to begin with, but Cummings took off down I-95 with the Florida Highway Patrol in hot pursuit.

One officer finally managed to pull the pit maneuver and get Cummings off the road and into a wooded area.

Even though Cummings was seemingly surrounded by armed officers, he must have felt like they didn't learn their lesson the first time when he ducked out of the brush and took off in the next open cop car.

It's not clear how he managed to pull the stunt off a second time with guns aimed at him and a leashed canine officer ready to take him down, but he didn't waste time and floored it.

After more than 100 miles of pursuit officers finally radioed ahead to have their partners lay down a spike strip, ending Cummings reckless adventures.

Cummings was slapped with a litany of charges including: armed burglary of a conveyance, escape, fleeing or attempting to elude law enforcement, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon (two counts), grand theft firearm (two counts), grand theft motor vehicle (two counts), and driving while license suspended (habitual).

On social media Cummings is unfortunately being celebrated as, "[The guy who] must have played all the GTA games."
