Domestic beef: Man assaults ex over of wrong McDonald's order
Mankato, Minnesota - There's being hangry, and then there's this: a man faces up to two years in prison for attacking his former girlfriend after she got him the wrong fast food order.
Mohamed Aboubaker completely lost hist mind when his ex and the mother of his three-year-old came home on March 21 with a McDonald's Quarter Pounder.
The fact that he had actually asked for a Big Mac was enough to send him into a violent rage.
A heated argument ensued, after which the young woman asked Aboubaker to leave her house.
According to a criminal complaint obtained by Smoking Gun, the 39-year-old "was visiting [her] for the last few days".
But Aboubaker did not leave. Instead, he grabbed his ex, "threw her to the ground against the dresser" and grabbed her purse in order to steal money from her.
The woman then confronted him and defended herself with hornet spray. The worst part of all of this is that the young boy the two shared witness every terrifying second of incident.
When police arrived at the victim's home shortly after the assault, Aboubaker was already long gone. His ex told officers what had happened, stating that she had been scared for herself and her young son the entire time.
Fortunately, he was located and arrested only a short time later.
As the Daily Mail reported, he now faces a prison sentence of up to two years if convicted.
