Vitaly kept wondering why his package was nowhere to be found, although it should have been there a long time ago, according to Amazon.

Had the system made a mistake?

To see for himself, Vitaly, who goes by the username talktomeinstead on TikTok, decided to check the security camera footage outside the front door – and what he saw made his jaw drop.

"Did this lady really just take my new MacBook?" he asked his followers in disbelief, sharing the video recording.

The footage shows a woman in an Amazon uniform leaving a package on Vitaly's doorstep. She takes a few steps back to snap a picture of it – presumably to prove that it really was "delivered."

However, instead of turning around and leaving as expected, she grabs the package and disappears with it.

Vitaly's followers are also speechless!

Many of Vitaly's followers were just as shocked. The video already has more than seven million views, with users expressing their bewilderment in the comments.

"She going to jail..... was it worth it?!?" one person wrote incredulously, while another added in confusion, "she didn't even check for any cameras or if there was anyone around."

A rookie mistake, or has she pulled the same trick before?

Vitaly, who has more than 227,000 followers on the video platform, asked in the comments if he should sue. Quite a few users said he should.

"Somebody getting fired," one user predicted.

That same day, Vitaly announced he would be "going to court" over the alleged theft.
