Oregon - Why is this Subway employee so tired?

TikTok user ss4xgoku1 just wanted to have a sandwich at a Subway restaurant. But when he saw what was unfolding in front of him, he pulled out his phone and starting recording a video.

The clip begins after he had placed the order. The Subway employee is topping the sub with meat and vegetables.

But as she moves on to adding the spices, her movements become slower and slower.

Her head begins to sink further and further down. At first only her green cap touches the sandwich.

Finally, her face, which is covered by a mask, lands on the bread. The woman is fast asleep, with the half-prepared sub almost acting as her pillow!

The footage, which the man recorded on November 11, went viral quickly. More than 12 million users have watched the 28-second clip.

Opinions are divided among the over 52,000 comments. Some users find the situation funny, leaving messages like "chill bro she was just taste testing it" or "'You said you wanted everything on it?'"

Others are shocked by the scene and have their own theories. "Can't imagine how underslept she is, we're too hard on service workers," writes one user. Another adds: "Not to mention the wage people get paid at subway.... she deserves better."

Many suspect that the employee is simply overworked. TikTok user ss4xgoku1, who shared the clip, has his own theory as to why the employee fell asleep: "she is fine she js needs to not do drugs before work."
