Internet - It's difficult to fathom what Rosalinda has already been through in her 70 years of life.

On TikTok, the elderly woman shared the unbelievable story of the moment that changed her life forever.

In the video, Rosalinda says that when was in her early twenties, a neighbor asked her to watch her son while she ran some quick errands.

No problem for young Rosalinda. After all, she loved children more than anything.

But then the little boy's mother never returned.

Mamarosalinda's heart broke into a thousand pieces. She couldn't leave this little child to fend for himself. Instead, she decided to raise him as her own.

That seemed to work well at first. But as soon as he reached the age of 18, he searched down his father and vanished from Rosalinda's life to live with him.

As she sadly shared in a comment below her video, even though the two have since spoken on the phone, she has never seen him again.

As traumatic as this experience was, it turned Rosalinda's life upside down in the best possible way.

At the age of 50, she decided to become a foster mother, as she was unable to have children of her own.

"My first foster child was a little boy called Adeola. Over the years I've fostered many children," she shared with a tiny smile on her face.

That eventually led to Rosalinda adopting her daughter in 1990.

In May, she adopted Lola, the little girl with the "beautiful eyes," who has remained by her side ever since – and in whom she has found her own personal happy ending.
