Nainamo, Canada - This TikToker was shocked to find her car seats inexplicably covered in mud on the morning of January 31. But that mystery was nothing compared to what came next.

Canadian Bethany Coker (26) sure had a crazy couple of days.

First came the morning when the inside of her car greeted her with a baffling scene. The passenger seat was completely caked in dried mud, which she was sure had nothing to do with her.

"My car was home all night while we were out wheeling til 2am and I started it up this morning not paying attention, only to come back to get in it, and notice the MUD," Bethany wrote in the caption of her TikTok.

After cleaning up the mess, she dismissed the weirdness and went about her business.

But two days later, Bethany got a sequel to the bizarre episode – one that shocked her to the core.

There was a man in her truck. A naked man.

"Guess I found out where the mud came from," she wrote in the caption of her now viral video of the discovery.

The clip, which now has over 18 million views, shows Bethany confronting a figure hiding in the trunk, behind one of the back seats.

"Why are you in my trunk and are you naked?" Bethany asked – a combination of words she probably never thought would come out of her mouth.

The stowaway's nonsensical reply only added to the confusion: "It's a rite of passage... I'm the pope's son!"

That was the last straw for Bethany, who gave it one last hearty "What the f**k?" before getting out of the car, locking it, and calling the police.

The show then continues with a police officer inspecting the trunk and saying, "I’ll tell you, in my whole career, I’ve never come across anything like that."

Bethany posted four more videos, updating her followers on the wild situation. She said that the man had escaped from a psychiatric hospital and has since been returned to the facility.

The viral video shocked viewers. One commented that they would no longer be able to check their trunks without being paranoid. Others noted that the man was probably in her trunk when she made the first video of the dirty seats.

Finally, there was also a very pointed question: "How can you treat the pope's son like that?"
