Daisy Jones & The Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid
Daisy Jones & The Six, an epic tale of a fictional 1970s rock 'n' roll band, is being adapted as a miniseries for Amazon Prime.
The unique documentary style of the novel lends itself perfectly to a screen adaptation, and fans can't wait to see what the finished product will be.
The show is set to star Riley Keough as the titular rocker, with The Hunger Games star Sam Claflin co-starring as Billy Dunne.
Suki Waterhouse, Camila Morrone, Nabiyah Be, Will Harrison, Josh Whitehouse, Sebastian Chacon, and Tom Wright round out the rest of the main cast.
Filming on the series has wrapped, but a release date has yet to be revealed.
It Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover
BookTok's unofficial queen AKA Colleen Hoover is set to have her first book-to-movie adaptation with It Ends With Us.
The massively popular romance novel was picked up by Jane the Virgin star Justin Baldoni's production company, Wayfarer Entertainment.
Baldoni confirmed that the screenplay was complete last October.
However, there have been no further updates about casting or a filming schedule.
Red, White & Royal Blue by Casey McQuinston
BookTok favorite Red, White & Royal Blue follows the unexpected romance between Alex, the first son of the US, and Henry, a British prince.
McQuinston's novel is set for a film adaptation on Amazon Prime, and it'll be directed by Matthew Lopez.
The Kissing Booth 2's Taylor Zakhar Perez will portray Alex, and Purple Hearts star Nicholas Galitzine will play Henry. Uma Thurman is on board as Alex's mother, Ellen Claremont.
Filming wrapped in August, but a release date has yet to be announced.
A Good Girl's Guide to Murder by Holly Jackson
The most recent adaptation to be announced is A Good Girl's Guide to Murder by Holly Jackson, which will be made into a TV show for BBC.
The mystery novel follows a high school student named Pip who decides to investigate a seemingly closed murder case that occurred in her town five years earlier.
Jackson has written two sequels to A Good Girl's Guide to Murder: Good Girl, Bad Blood and As Good As Dead.
The author confirmed that the adaptation was in the works back in September, but no other details have been confirmed.
Heartstopper: Volume 3 by Alice Oseman
Alice Oseman's graphic novel series, Heartstopper, was made into a Netflix series starring Joe Locke and Kit Connor earlier this year. The adaptation was a massive hit for the streaming service, scoring a swift double renewal shortly after its premiere.
While the first season adapted the storyline of the series' first two books, the forthcoming second season is expected to utilize the storyline from Heartstopper: Volume 3.
With Oseman at the helm as writer and creator, Heartstopper's first season proved just how meticulously dedicated the production team was to crafting a faithful adaptation of the source material.
All cast members from the first season are expected to return for season 2, with several new faces joining the team as well.
