Atlanta, Georgia - Kelsey Salmon's horrific experience with a beauty treatment gone wrong has shocked TikTok. After getting eyelash extensions, the beautician's dog jumped up and ripped Kelsey's eyelid completely off her face!

In a gruesome viral video, Kelsey Salmon explains that sh was celebrating her birthday by treating herself to eyelash extensions at a local beautician's home.

The trauma she experienced there will likely haunt her for the rest of her life.

The eyelashes had just been applied when the beautician's dog, a chihuahua, jumped up on top of Kelsey and snapped at her face. She says she didn't even realize what had happened after being startled by the aggressive little beast.

But the dog had done more than just bite Kelsey on the face – it actually managed to rip her eyelid clean off! "It happened so fast, I didn't know what he had in his mouth," she reveals in the video.

After the crazed dog let go of Kelsey, the beautician reached down and picked up the missing eyelid from the floor, casually saying, "You dropped your eyelid."

An ambulance immediately took Kelsey to an ER where she waited for more than seven hours before being transferred to a larger hospital in Atlanta with specialized eye surgeons on staff.

The surgeons spent about two hours trying to reattach the severed eyelid. Fortunately, everything went well, but the road to recovery will be a long one, and her eye had to be stitched shut in the process.

Kelsey's eye is still red and swollen, and she has to ice her eye and take regular drops to ease the pain of the stitches scratching her corneas.

Millions of people have seen the cringe-inducing clip and many have commented that they can't understand how she can be so composed after such an ordeal. "Thanks for reminding me not to go to a beauty salon anymore," one wrote.

Many advised Kelsey to take legal action against the dog's owner. "This is a case for court," one user recommended.
