Los Angeles, California – Addison Rae's tattoos were featured on a recent Instagram post from the Instagram influencer. The tantalizing mirror pics show off the striking new ink, but are they even real?

Whenever Addison Rae posts on her TikTok or Instagram, the world is right there, ready to chime in.

Such was the case when Addison posted her most recent series of pictures on her Instagram, but it wasn't her outfit or sultry poses that stole the show.

Rather, it was a tattoo spotted on Addison's spine that got people talking.

In her post, Addison alternated two selfies with two mirror pics that show her looking over her shoulder, with her back and potential new ink on full display.

The tattoo runs down the length of her spine, from the bottom of her shoulder blades to her lower back, and appears to be some type of floral design. If you look closely, you'll also see what looks to be another tattoo on her shoulder.

When analyzing pics posted by Addison Rae since the controversial post, it seems that the concerns of fans were unfounded. There are no tats - perhaps it was henna?

Fans were quick to sound off in the comments to debate the legitimacy of the ink, with one user commenting in all caps, "Wait a tattoo??"

Another followed suit, saying "Wait what on your back is [it] a tattoo?"

This isn't the first time Addison has sparked rumors about getting tatted. In November, the 20-year-old posted a TikTok with fellow influencer Bryce Hall, and fans were quick to point out something that looked like partially-hidden ink on her stomach.

To her fan's disappointment, it turned out to be just a tag from her knotted t-shirt.

Despite Addison's radio silence on the matter, some have suggested that the tattoos are temporary. This also seems likely as subsequent posts have not showed the expected tattoos.

It's possible that Addison was inspired to get inked by her bestie Kourtney Kardashian's new boo, Travis Barker, and his plethora of body art.

But it's just as likely that she's playing games with fans by way of temporary tattoos or even henna.
