The Bachelor: Clayton Echard gets played, and revenge comes knocking
Agoura Hills, California – One group date on The Bachelor turned into a battlefield after "Shrimp-gate" backfired on the ladies and an innocent woman went home.
It's never been more clear who should be on the next season of Bachelor in Paradise if they get sent packing, and it's Shanae Ankney.
After successfully getting two cocktail parties ixnayed and having her archenemy Elizabeth Corrigan removed from the mansion, divine intervention was needed.
Thankfully, producers set up the ultimate group date to level the playing field – and each other: a tackle football game amongst the ladies fighting for Clayton Echard's heart. What could go wrong?
Former Olympian Marlena Wesh got overly amped about the "Bachelor Bowl" game. When you're handed the opportunity to completely level the season's villain in the name of tackle football, you can't pass it up – and she certainly did not.
At that moment, The Bachelor himself began to realize the drama might actually not have left the building when he sent Elizabeth packing.
Despite the fact she was on the losing team, Shanae crashed the winners' after party anyway.
To no surprise for anyone who's watched the travesty of this season unfold, Clayton fell for each word Shanae spoke once she opened her mouth to spew lies like a true antagonist.
After all, it pays to be a pretty girl who seems to have a master’s degree in gaslighting on The Bachelor. But as they say, all's fair in love and war when the prize is a former professional athlete who couldn't see a red flag if it hit him in the face.
Though operation expose Shanae didn't quite come to full fruition on Monday's episode, it's doubtful the ladies will rest until the wicked witch of season 26 is gone for good.
Will the truth come to light, so Clayton can finally come to his senses? One can only hope that's what happens when The Bachelor returns on February 7.
