The Bachelor lives out his three fantasies, then kills one woman's dreams

Farmington, Pennsylvania – After taking all three women to the fantasy suite on this week's The Bachelor, Matt James was left with the crippling decision of sending one home broken-hearted.

Rachael had a rough time waiting around for her night in the fantasy suite with Matt, but ultimately beat out the very forward Bri Springs for the last rose, making it to the finale.

And then there were two. After all three women confessed their love for Matt before the cameras cut off for their intimate, sexy nights in the fantasy suite, he was left to pick the two women to meet his mom before potentially getting down on one knee during next week's finale.

Unfortunately for Bri Springs, who was the first to share that she was madly in love with Matt last week, her journey to a diamond ring was cut short as she was sent packing with crushed dreams and a broken heart.

It was nothing short of a cringe-inducing, painfully hard to watch episode, partially thanks to Bri's confession that she wanted Matt to get down on one knee the morning after their night in the fantasy suite.

That she came off strong was an understatement, especially in light of the fact that Matt left her empty-handed only a few days later.

Then there was Rachael Kirkconnell, who was the last contestant to go on her fantasy date with Matt.

"Racist" Rachael breaks down ahead of her fantasy suite night

Rachael spent the days leading up to the sleepover date with Matt talking about how "sick" it made her to think of him being alone and presumably unclothed with the two other women.

Her tune had changed drastically from the week prior, when she confessed that she felt Matt had the strongest bond with her opposed to anyone else. Rachael, who was gifted a pair of Louboutins earlier in the season, entered the rose ceremony on the verge of tears and wracked with doubts.

Luckily for Rachael, she beat out Bri for the final rose of the ceremony, mending her hurt ego and intensifying her belief that she should be Matt's wife at the end of the road.

Now that Matt's had a glimpse of what life would be like away from the cameras and under the covers with the final two women, he'll have a better idea of whom he wants to cuddle with forevermore.

Will Matt end up devoting himself to one of them next week, or will he run for the hills due to his own emotional trauma? If he does propose, will the pair be together in present-day for the After The Final Rose special airing after the finale?

Although Bachelor Nation has projected Rachael to be the winner, the only way to know for sure is by tuning into the emotionally-heavy finale next Monday.
