Sweet dreams: Bridgerton's heartthrob Regé-Jean Page will read fans a bedtime story
London, UK - A special gift for all the moms (and Bridgerton fans) out there: Regé-Jean Page will be mesmerizing listeners on the BBC children's program CBeebies with a bedtime story debut on Sunday, which also happens to be the UK's Mother's Day.
More adult fans than children will likely be tuning in on Sunday to watch Bridgerton's shining star read a tale before bed on CBeebies.
But those who couldn't get enough of the steamy scenes between Daphne Bridgerton and the Duke of Hastings on the record-breaking Netflix hit Bridgerton, will now have to settle for a more wholesome experience.
Page will be reading Rain Before Rainbows by Smriti Halls and David Litchfield - a story that couldn't be more pertinent for life at the moment.
It revolves around a young girl and a fox who become friends and go hand in hand through tough times.
"They learn that, in the midst of rain, rainbows can be hard to see but, with courage and the help of good friends, there is always a way out of darkness," according to a BBC press release.
He’s joining a star-studded line up of celebrities who will be reading bedtime stories to fans in the coming week. Among the stars is singer Rag‘n’Bone Man, who will be reading My Dad Used to be So Cool by Keith Negley, and actor Felicity Jones, who will be reading The Huffalots by Eve Coy.
Hollywood Tom Hardy will also be returning to the books, reading a story about a plastic bag that gets mistaken for a jellyfish.
Cbeebies Bedtime Stories airs daily on the BBC at 1:50 PM ET.
