Sex and the City reboot script leak shows big trouble for one main couple!
New York, New York - And just like that, there may be drama afoot!
Brace yourselves! Sex and the City fans may be in for a rollercoaster of emotions when the new reboot premieres.
The highly-anticipated upcoming series, And Just Like That, may have some big drama in store for a beloved couple.
On Thursday, Page Six obtained a leaked portion of the show's script.
According to a big bombshell, Carrie Bradshaw and Mr. Big will apparently be getting a divorce!
During the original series, the iconic on-screen couple, played by Sarah Jessica Parker and Chris North, engaged in a bumpy on-again-off-again relationship.
However, towards the end of the series, the two finally got it together and became a couple – eventually marrying in the first film installment.
Now, things seem to be back off-again between the two.
In the exclusive glimpse at the brief scene, Carrie is speaking to her friends about her impending divorce and battle of assets.
"I was taping the podcast, I was washing my hair. Yes, I wasn’t eating or sleeping, but at least I felt good about my marriage. Now I’m just one of the wives he was taking care of?" Carrie said in the leaked pages.
Given this new information, it's becoming a bit clearer why specific stars will be reprising certain roles.
For instance, John Corden will be returning as Aiden Shaw, who was Carrie's second main love interest.
Additionally, on Tuesday, Bridget Moynahan – who portrayed Big's second wife, Natasha Naginsky – was seen on the set of the HBO Max series.
Will Big and Carrie's respective exes play a role in why they split?
Or will Aiden himself cause a stir? Remember: In Sex and the City 2, Carrie's brief lapse in judgement with Aiden caused Big some heartache.
The 10-episode series has yet to announce a release date. Nonetheless, we can't wait to get Carried away!
