Ross & Rachel fans rejoice! David Schwimmer shares an adorable new photo with Jennifer Aniston
New York, New York - David Schwimmer has shared some more behind-the-scenes photos from the Friends Reunion, and fans are going nuts over an adorable pic of him and Jennifer Aniston.
The duo portrayed the infamous characters Ross Geller and Rachel Greene on the hit series for ten seasons.
The on-screen couple's "will they/won't they" romance was a pivotal plot throughout the sitcom.
Fast forward 20 years later, when Schwimmer and Aniston reunited with their fellow castmates for a special that celebrated the show's success and incredible following years after it ended.
Perhaps one of the best moments of the night was when David and Jennifer coyly revealed that they were severely crushing on each other during the filming of Season One, which helped create the romantic tension between Ross and Rachel.
"At some points, we were both crushing hard on each other, but it was like two ships passing because one of us was always in a relationship. So we never crossed that boundary. We both respected that," Schwimmer explained, much to the shock and amusement of fans and viewers everywhere.
On Monday, the Madasgacar actor revealed more snaps from the beloved reunion on his Instagram, and one photo that stood out was a special embrace he gave Aniston.
Will David and Jennifer ever be more than just Friends?
The sweet never-before-seen pic showed the former costars tenderly holding one another.
Schwimmer captioned the shot, "After a very long day, last hug of the night."
Could we BE any more excited?
It should also be noted that both David and Jennifer are currently single, which they did mention was an issue during their time filming together many years ago.
Now that they're both available, is there a chance that sparks will once again fly between these former castmates?
Well, if Bennifer 2.0 has taught us anything, it's that it's never too late for a second chance at love!
