Oui oui! Netflix drops season two of Emily in Paris
Los Gatos, California - Pop the champagne! Netflix has given viewers an early Christmas gift with the release of the second season of Emily in Paris. Here's what fans of the guilty pleasure can expect.
Lily Collins returns as the ever-charming Emily Cooper in the follow-up season of the popular TV series.
Though the second season's debut arguably wasn't as widely-broadcasted as it should've been, fans are delighted to escape the madness of today's world and follow Emily's escapades into French living.
The first season focused on the young social media strategist finding her footing in the European city.
Yet, the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity wasn't smooth sailing for Emily, as her American background clashed with the up-scale Parisian way of life.
Eventually, Emily finds her way and travels down her own avenue in the city of love - while also attracting the eye of various suitors.
The new 10-episode season will pick up right where the last one left off, but is said to feature less touristy-encounters and more steamy romantic ventures for the 20-something Chicago native.
Newcomers Lucien Laviscountand Arnaud Binard will be joining the series as potential suitors, and will certainly spice things up for Emily's love life.
Even the show's creator Darren Star couldn't contain his excitement for what's in store.
"In season 2, she's going to be more of a part of the fabric of the world she's living in," he spilled to Oprah Daily. "She'll be more of a resident of the city. She'll have her feet on the ground a little more. She's making a life there."
The second season of Emily in Paris is now streaming on Netflix.
