Not every queen was on brand for the latest episode RuPaul's Drag Race
Los Angeles, California - As the queens were challenged with creating their very own brand in the form of soft drinks, the latest RuPaul's Drag Race had plenty of fizz to keep the juices flowing!
There is no denying that Rosé was right on brand with the color pink for her very own "Rosé-Aid." She served not only drinks, but real comedy for us all. And on the runway, she had us awe-struck as a red demon.
If Rosé continues to serve lewks like this, the other contestants have plenty to fear from her majesty.
She fully deserved to be no. 1 but Symone did too, so the dazzling duo co-shared the throne on Friday.
Granted, Symone outshone everyone but Rosé with her unmatched coolness and intimidating confidence. With her "Sweet Toof" soda that makes you go "from uptight to just right," she once again proved who the show's OG stand-up entertainer is. She's also arguably the only one who could strut down the runway in foxy furry fashion and make it sexy.
It came as no surprise that Kandy Muse came out on top as well. If anyone knows how to sell their brand, it's her. But as much as she delivered with her soft drink, she flopped big time with her runway performance.
Her alien outfit reminded more of a cheap Shrek-costume or a tightly fitting colored condom.
The jury wasn't impressed with Tina Burner
Meanwhile, Olivia's performance crumbled for the third week in a row, while Utica tried too hard to be quirky and it was all weird and no fun. Gottmik, on the other hand, had the right concept but failed big time at improvising.
Tina Burner, who's notorious for her yellow-red housewife aesthetic, was a little too sure of herself when she entered the stage in flames. But her performance wasn't as fiery as expected, and Michelle later called her commercial "one-note."
It was confusing to see the judges suddenly turning their backs on Tina. True, her red and yellow runway outfits always were a bit too Ronald McDonald, but the judges had never taken issue with her preferred color patterns before.
On Friday, they suddenly dragged her with disproportionately harsh feedback and placed her bottom.
After Burner's bashing, she was up for a lip sync against the Utica. Granted, Gottmik should have taken Utica's place this week, as the quirky queen at least stayed on brand with the challenge.
As both queens danced around the stage to the gay hymn My Humps by the Black Eyed Peas, it was hard to say who should be leaving the stage. While Utica gave her best spooky impression in her Beauty and the Beast attire, Tina Burner trumped her with her lip sync skills.
In the end, the jury's favorite Utica took the win home, and a disappointed Tina Burner was to sashay away.
