Merci! Netflix gives Emily in Paris fans a magnifique treat
Los Gatos, California - "Merci Beaucoup!" Netflix has renewed one of its most popular series, Emily in Paris, for a third and fourth season.
Oui Oui!
It looks like Emily has made her decision and will stay in Paris after all.
The streaming giant's only romantic comedy series to rival Bridgerton has – just like its royal counterpart – been renewed for not only one, but two more seasons.
On Monday, Netflix confirmed that Lily Collins will return as the titular character who ventures through love, fashion, and heartache in the most romantic city in the world.
The 32-year-old also took to Instagram to share the exciting news with an adorable snap of herself wearing a white Emily in Paris t-shirt paired with checkered shorts.
"Woke up early to give you some VERY exciting news… @emilyinparis is back for Season 3… AND wait for it, Season 4!!!!!" she began in the caption.
The actor added, "I can’t tell if Emily would love or hate this announcement outfit but she’d be screaming either way. Truly love you all, thanks so much for the incredible support. Seriously cannot wait for more. Merci Beaucoup!!"
Emily in Paris' sophomore season premiered last month, much to the delight of fans. It finds the young social media strategist finally getting somewhat comfortable being in the French capital.
However, things get complicated when Emily engages in a love triangle with her attractive neighbor Gabriel, played by Lucas Bravo, and a British banker named Alfie, portrayed by Lucien Laviscount.
Now that it's been confirmed that this won't be the last fans see of Emily, will her très magnifique love-triangle be resolved?
The first two seasons of Emily in Paris is now streaming on Netflix.
